The private aviation provider recently reported year-to-date, new jet card sales are up 40% over last year, while charter revenue is up 58%.

The company also continues to expand its fleet of managed and controlled aircraft, which in turn helps fuel demand. Delta Private Jets fleet has grown to 70 aircraft from 53 at the beginning of the year, and is on track to end the year with a total of 75 aircraft in its fleet.

"We continue to grow our fleet with the right aircraft strategically located and with state-of-the-art technology and amenities most requested by our customers," said David Sneed, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Delta Private Jets.

Most of the recent aircraft additions have been focused on midsize and large cabin aircraft. A Gulfstream V and a Gulfstream IV-SP were among the most recent additions to the fleet.

"We started 2014 with 38 aircraft on our certificate," Sneed added. "2014 was a record year for the company in terms of revenue and fleet growth and, 2015 is shaping up to be another record year as well."

Delta Private Jets is also currently offering a special jet card promotion through the end of the year. For a limited time, customers can purchase a $25,000 or $50,000 jet card. Both programs are designed to give more potential customers the ability to experience private jet travel. For the $25,000 card the hourly rates start at $6,250 on a light jet and the rates are locked for 6 months. For the $50,000 card the hourly rates start at $5,775 and the rates are locked for 1 year.

The regular entry level for Delta Private Jets is a $100,000 deposit and hourly rates start at $5,500 on a light jet for this level of deposit. There are three other private jet categories to choose from, all with hourly rates locked-in for two years.

Delta Private Jets is a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. Jet card holders also receive Delta SkyMiles Diamond Medallion Status with their $100,000 deposit. The current special $50,000 deposit comes with Gold level status.

The company operates a diverse fleet of Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, Gulfstream and Hawker Beechcraft jets. It holds Wyvern Wingman status and is an ARGUS Platinum Rated Operator, a distinction it has held longer than any other operator in the world. Delta Private Jets is also IS-BAO Stage II approved.
